Positive life Style

Regular exercise helps to improve the quality of life for breast cancer survivors. Studies in the past have shown correlations between exercise and decreased cancer risk. To evaluate the effect of regular exercise on the life of breast cancer survivors researchers identified 1,829 Chinese women, aged around 54 years, diagnosed with breast cancer between 2002 and 2008. Approximately 70 per cent of the women exercised regularly at six months post-diagnosis and 74 per cent were exercising regularly for 36 months after their diagnosis. Those reporting even low levels of regular exercise were more likely to report better physical, mental and social well-being than those reporting no exercise. Also, women who exercised for more than eight hours per week reported the highest capacity for daily living and work or study, less distress, better body image, and higher quality relationships. In addition, the benefits of exercise were still evident more than 36 months after breast cancer diagnosis.
- For many years people have been told the daily excise will improve there life. Exercise have a positive impact in an individual life. I feel like this is a great way for not only breast cancer survivors but should be apart of everyones everyday life style.

Be Careful who it can affect !

Pregnant women exposed to a common chemical found in plastics are more likely to have daughters with aggressive and hyperactive behaviours. The first to examine the link between exposure to bisphenol A during pregnancy and behaviour problems in kids. The results are consistent with other studies showing the impact of the chemical on juvenile female animals. Bisphenol A has also been linked to reproductive problems and diabetes. It's used to make hard, clear reusable water bottles, baby bottles and resins that line the inside of metal food and beverage cans. Last October, Canada became the first country in the world to ban BPA-containing baby bottles. Some U.S. jurisdictions, including Cincinnati, have legislation that bans or limits the use of the chemical in consumer products. The study, published Tuesday in the journal "Environmental Health Perspectives," measured the BPA levels in urine samples taken from 249 pregnant women in Cincinnati at 16 and 26 weeks pregnancy and again when they gave birth.the chemical concentrations between 13 and 16 weeks of pregnancy were most strongly associated with behaviour problems in girls, but the study found no significant effect on boys. The girls will be tested again when they're five, at an age children's behaviours tend to be more stable. A study by a toxicologist and a graduate of the southern Ontario university found that the chemical lingers in the bodies of newborns and infants.
- To most people there children is there pride and joy. What we do for them, give them and environment we place them is a very essential part of there life. We have to me mindful that we help raise healthy and happy generation to pass on.

A Organ of Mind

The Brain Scientists have assumed that people's brains shrink as they age, but researchers now suspect that is not the case. A study in the September issue of Neuropsychology examines long-term Dutch research into aging brains, which used neurological tests and MRI scans to measure parts of the brain. Researchers looked at data from 1994 to 2005 for two groups: 35 people who were cognitively healthy and 30 people who did not have dementia but experienced cognitive decline during the period. Both groups averaged about 69 years old. Those whose cognitive skills declined also had brain shrinkage. This suggested to the researchers that the brain might not shrink much among healthy, older people who do not suffer from cognitive decline.
-The brain is an important aspect to everyone life. Doctors need to be extra precautions in make such diagnostics. These researchers need to be aware that the brain is defiantly not an organ to misdiagnosishttp://www.ajc.com/health/content/shared-auto/healthnews/age-/630776.html

Women vs. Men

New study suggests that women actually get over their discomfort more quickly than men. Researchers found that when they exposed 32 adults to a moderately painful stimulus a heat-producing probe placed on the skin women were initially more sensitive to the pain than men. But after the first 20 seconds, women reported a decline in both the intensity of the pain and their "annoyance" with it until they were actually less bothered than men. Men, in contrast, showed no similar adaptation. The results, reported in the journal Pain, seem to throw a wrench into past findings suggesting that women generally have less tolerance for pain. There may be sex differences in the brain's inhibition of pain signals, as well as in the psychological aspects of pain perception between men and women.

- For most pain is defiantly not a pleasurable experience. Most of the times people usually envision women as being inferior to men so it was surprising to learn that women can endure more pain then men.

Can affect Generations

In a conference of Irish psychiatrists, the children of mothers with psychological distress are at greater risk of obesity. Psychiatrists from the University of Liverpool set out to examine the relationship between maternal psychological distress and obesity in their children. The doctors found almost a fifth of the children studied was found to be overweight at the age of three. A further five per cent were obese. Almost four per cent of the mothers in the study scored highly on the Kessler 6 scale, which measures psychological distress. Analysis of the data showed that mothers with serious psychological distress, including low mood and anxiety, were significantly more likely to have children who were overweight or obese.
-Nowadays there are so many different aspects that have to be taken into account when it comes to being a parent. People need to be mind full of there are actions and mind set when bring another human being into the world. This is something should defiantly be taken seriously because i children are our future.

That's a Women for You !

Women share a unique language when they are communicating with other females. This “womenspeak” involves words, behaviors and topics that not only draw them closer together but have positive health benefits as well. Womenspeak expresses care and concern for other members in the group. When two or more women get together they immediately ask how the other is feeling. True womenspeak is nonjudgmental.Female conversations focus on issues that are happening right now. They almost never stop a conversation to interject a joke. Instead, they discuss current happenings in their lives. Kids, boyfriends and husbands provide hours of grist for the womenspeak conversation mill.Women are acutely aware of each other’s appearance and will spend a portion of every conversation making positive comments.
